Meet Our Groomers!

Tish has been an avid animal lover all of her life and started her career working with

animals in a veterinary setting in 1990. After graduating from The Georgia Academy of

Pet Styling in 1996, Tish groomed at a veterinary clinic in Norcross for 5 years before

creating her own business Tish’s Loving Care. In order to spend more time with her young family, Tish sold this successful business, wrote a book (about grooming) and continued to groom pets at various shops, for several rescue groups and in her home for her loyal clientele. In 2014, she decided it was time to grow again and began the journey of TLC Pet Spa!

Tish’s family consists of her supportive husband, 2 helpful children, 6 dogs, 4 cats, and 1

bird! In her rare free time, Tish likes to travel, read, go the movies and work in her yard. Tish also works with Davis Manufacturing (a company that makes great products for veterinarians and groomers) as a speaker at Grooming Continuing Education Seminars and at their trade show booths around the country as well as acting as a consultant for their new products for veterinarians and groomers.

Tish’s favorite part of her career is getting to know each pet over time and grooming

them throughout their lifetime.

Brittany joined TLC in March of 2017! She previously learned to groom and worked with her mother for 9 years at another grooming shop in the Duluth area. Her Mom has retired and sold her shop and Brittany decided it was a good time to make a move.

Brittany loves grooming and has always loved animals - so her career just makes sense! Brittany is often described as fun, bubbly and outgoing. Pets and clients just love her and TLC is glad to have her and her talents!

Brittany is the Mom to 2 human children - Nora who is 3 years old and Josie who is 2 years old - as well as 2 dogs! Roxy is a senior Pit Bull and Bo is a Beagle Mix.

Brittany looks forward to caring for your pet! She loves pampering pets she has known over the years as well as meeting new friends!

Jenny joined TLC Pet Spa in July 2017. She is a Georgia native and has been working with dogs in grooming and boarding since 2009. In 2013, she decided to get her formal education at The Paragon School of Grooming in Michigan which is when she began her professional grooming career. Jenny's favorite part of grooming is "working with so many beautiful breeds".

Jenny is the proud mother of a US Navy Sailor, Ryan; two daughters who attend Georgia State University, Peyton and Emily; Natalia attends FSU while Casey and Jayson are still in high school. Mila (7 years old) and Lina (5 years old) are the youngest of this blended family.

Jenny has 3 furry kids - a Boxer named Annie, a "crazy" Bull Terrier named Georgia and a Shih Tzu puppy named Winslow. In her free time, Jenny loves to workout with her husband, Pete, and play raquetball - but NOTHING beats having quality time with all of her kids in one place!

Kristen joined TLC in August 2018 with 7 years of grooming experience. She was looking for a salon that focused on quality over quantity which is exactly the way we feel at TLC! Her grooming skills are also very nice - the dogs she grooms are happy and look amazing!

Kristen is married with a 3 year old son. She has 2 dogs - an American Eskimo named Finnick and a Beagle puppy named Sullivan. She also has a cat named Ash. When Kristen is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to audio books, shopping and studying her bible.

Kristen's favorite part of grooming is watching the makeover process for each pet and seeing how good they feel when they are finished! TLC is glad to have Kristen on our team!

Sarah joined TLC Pet Spa in May 2020 with 6 years of professional grooming experience.

Her journey with animals began early as she grew up on a farm and always seemed to make friends with the feathered, slimy, hooved, or four legged creatures. She started her grooming career as a bather at a Petco where her manager always pushed her to pursue a career in grooming. Her manager saw her potential and encouraged her by telling her she was "too big for this small town" (in Virginia). After moving to Florida with her boyfriend, Sarah got a job at a full service grooming salon and found her passion! The owner of the salon took Sarah under her wing and taught her how to groom. This was the first of several one on one grooming teachers Sarah has worked with.

I asked Sarah what she enjoys about grooming and here is her answer: "I really enjoy giving a dog a good transformation - mentally and physically. I also enjoy working with rescue dogs that have had a rough go in life and forming bonds with each one of my furry friends. I love giving a dog a haircut that captures their little personality!"

At home, Sarah has 2 cats that are litter mates. She rescued them at 2 weeks old and bottle fed them. SamSon is an Orange long haired tabby, and PippinTook is a Flame Point Siamese. She also rescued a 5 pound chihuahua and named her Tulip! Tulip was the perfect addition to their nightly cuddle puddles!

When Sarah isn't grooming, she really enjoys crafting, making and designing fairy gardens/houses, along with a million other crafting things. She also enjoys spending time outside doing anything and everything to get her hands dirty! Whether she's down at the farm working around the horses or out on the river in her kayak, she loves anything that involves an adventure and her loved ones.

TLC is very glad to have added Sarah to our team! Her grooming talent comes to her naturally and her love for every pet in the room exudes from her! She fits right in because TLC is absolutely her priority!
